Appleton College students pick up Gold awards

Prince Philip presents Appleton College students with their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award at St James’ Palace.

Seven former students from Appleton College enjoyed a proud day collecting their Duke of Edinburgh Gold award certificates at St James’ Palace. As well as meeting Prince Philip who was very impressed with the accomplishments of all of our students, the actress Dame Helen Mirren was a special guest at the awards ceremony and was equally impressed by the resilience, hard work and achievements of all of our recipients.
