PTA & Uniform Shop
Our active Parent Teacher Association aims to raise funds to provide resources to enhance pupils’ experience of our school which are not normally affordable from the school budget. Around £12,000 a year is raised and spent on different activities taking place inside and outside of school or for extra-curricular clubs such as orienteering, canoeing and the band. Bids for PTA assistance are submitted by teachers or pupils and are considered for approval at each committee meeting.
Our group consists of volunteers from among parents, teachers or friends who act as committee members, helpers, or both, and give assistance with running and organising various events throughout the school year. Examples of the events we organise are:
- PTA Uniform Shop
- Car Boot Sales
- Refreshments at school events
- Social events i.e. Pamper Evening, Magic Show
There are regular meetings throughout the year and an AGM is held early each November.
We rely on your help, whether that be one hour, a year, or more. Please get involved and support our fundraising events, for the benefit of your child and all of our pupils.

Uniform Shop – Thursdays, 3.30pm-4.45pm, Upper School

The Uniform Shop is run on a voluntary basis without any overheads to cover. Consequently all profits go straight into PTA funds for the benefit of the pupils.
The Uniform Shop stocks high quality schoolwear at competitive prices and aims to provide an efficient service to parents. This is achieved by opening once a week after school (see above) and also by fulfilling orders received through the school offices.
Order forms for current pupils can be obtained from either school office or may be printed off this website.
Please note that for students buying ties directly from our Upper Finance Office, only *long* ties are stocked, at a price of £5.50.
Orders received before lunchtime on a Thursday may be collected from Friday morning break at either the Upper School Office for Y10-11, or the Lower School LRC for Y7-9. Orders received on Thursday afternoon or on a Friday cannot be guaranteed to be ready until the following Friday.
Please note that payment may only be made by cash or cheque. Please write your child’s name and form and your address on the back of the cheque.
