At AS you will study Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology and Historical issues. You will also get the opportunity to use your own specialist sporting activities which can be assessed in the centre or at your own club. This can be in the form of a performer, coach or organiser. Finally at A2 you will be given the opportunity to apply your knowledge by observing other performers and identifying their strengths and weaknesses with strategies on how to improve. You also have to evaluate and improve performance of one sporting activity. There is a synoptic element within the A2 course.

Where can it lead me?

Wide range of career choices from teaching, coaching, and physiotherapy to occupational health, PE covers a wide spectrum of individual subjects from Anatomy to Psychology.
