Primary School Cluster Day

Some of our Y9 pupils went to help out with a Primary Schools Cluster Day.

Recently Bridgewater High School was involved with two Primary School Cluster days. This involved year 5’s taking part in numerous sport activities at Broomfields Leisure Centre. The aim was to show children how to work as a team and to just have some fun. Children from primary schools in Warrington participated, these being: Broomfields, Appleton Thorn, St Thomas’, Stockton Heath and St Matthew’s. It was led by Mr Mackay but also to help out, twenty Year 9 pupils from Bridgewater were assigned a group to support, encourage and to participate with.
Year 9 student Mia Richardson, took part in these days and said, “This event was an amazing experience which has also improved my communication skills with younger children. It was a really useful and fun day and I hope all the children who took part enjoyed it too”. Bridgewater hopes to continue these cluster days because they were a huge success.
