Warrington Parents and Carers

Are you a parent or carer of a child or young person (aged 0-25) with a disability or additional needs?

We would like to highlight the fantastic work of WarrPAC (Warrington Parents and Carers). They are a local, voluntary group of experienced parents and carers who understand the unique journey of raising a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

What is WarrPAC?

WarrPAC is Warrington’s official Parent Carer Forum. Their mission is to ensure that local services—across education, health, and social care—meet the actual needs of our families. By joining, you can share your “lived experience” to help shape better outcomes for all children in our community.

How Can They Help You?

Support & Connection: Meet other families in similar situations to share knowledge and experiences.
Signposting: Get help finding the right services, advice, and guidance, whether your child has a formal diagnosis or you are just starting to look for information.
A Seat at the Table: WarrPAC works directly with decision-makers in Warrington to ensure your voice is heard at a local and national level.

WarrPAC hosts regular events where you can drop in for a relaxed chat or attend more formal information sessions:

Annual “Working Together” Conference: Taking place on Tuesday, 10th March 2026. This is a key event for parents to meet professionals and learn about local SEND developments.
Check-in and Chat Sessions: These are informal, safe spaces to talk openly with a coffee and biscuit. Upcoming dates include:
- Monday, 30th March 2026 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
- Monday, 13th July 2026 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
- Note: Most sessions are held at the Sandy Lane Family Hub, WA2 9HY.

Whether you are at the very beginning of your journey or have years of experience, WarrPAC is there for you. You don’t need to be a member to attend their “Check-in and Chat” sessions, but becoming a member is free and keeps you updated.
