At Bridgewater High School, we are committed to supporting our young people and their families at the earliest possible stage. We recognise that, at times, families may benefit from additional advice, guidance or practical support, and our staff are here to help.
We can support families to access universal services and community-based early help, through to Family Help which includes targeted Early Help and statutory services.
Early Help is about identifying concerns early and working together to prevent difficulties from escalating.
- Support may be available in areas such as: Attendance and school engagement
- Emotional health and wellbeing
- Behaviour and family relationships
- Sleep routines and hygiene
- Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Housing, finances and cost-of-living challenges
- Accessing appropriate local services and support networks
- Parenting advice and family support
Our staff can work alongside families to identify appropriate support and, where appropriate, make referrals to external agencies and community services. If you feel that you or your family would benefit from additional support, please contact school.
