Y10 Information Evening 2026
Dear Parent / Carer,
I trust your child has enjoyed a smooth return to school and has coped with the demands of Y10 so far.
I am writing to invite you to an important Year 10 information evening in the Upper School Hall, at 6.00pm on Thursday, 15th October 2026.
As head of Year 10, I will speak from a pastoral perspective, about how you can best support your child
over the crucial year ahead, where to turn for advice and what to do if things are not going as smoothly
as you would like.
Other members of our leadership team will speak about mock examinations, revision techniques and
general advice on preparing for exams.
The Heads of English, Maths and Science will each talk briefly about how best to support your child in
these core subjects, as well as showing you some resources that are available.
We hope that you can be present on this occasion and look forward to meeting you. You do not need to
bring your child with you on this occasion.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. P. Norman
Head of Year 10 2026-27
Bridgewater High School
