Appleton Students finish strongly

Appleton College students successfully completed their A level studies with a really impressive set of results. Principal, Tim Long said, “I am delighted for the students who have worked so hard during their time at Appleton College. Their success is richly deserved and based upon their dedication and commitment.”

There were a number of exceptionally strong individual performances. Matthew Tench, for example, gained three A stars in Maths, Politics and Business Studies, whilst Ealish Green secured an A star in Maths and a further four A grades in Chemistry, Physics, Further Maths and the Extended Project. Meanwhile Eleanor Clarke was awarded an A star in Media Film and TV Studies alongside B grades in Art and English Language. Mr Lambrianides, Head of Appleton College was delighted as well. “These three students have done really well and I could go on to name many more students who have every reason to be proud of their achievements. It has been a privilege to work with such a fine bunch of young people and I am delighted that many of them have been accepted by their first choice university or have been successful in securing their next pathway.”

Mr Long, the Principal added “This is the last cohort of students who will pass through Appleton College and it is fitting that they should do so with such a fine set of results. I extend my gratitude to them and all the other students who have graced Appleton College over the years and wish them all further success.”
