Chemistry Conquered – ChemQuiz 2025 Winners!

Congratulations to Bella, Thomas, Lilly and Jacob, who represented our school at the Royal Society of Chemistry Manchester and District Annual Quiz, held in the state-of-the-art Dalton Building at Manchester Metropolitan University.

They competed against teams from 35 local schools in a packed day of scientific challenges including a 90 minute laboratory exercise, rapid-fire quizzes and some spectacular chemistry demonstrations.

After showcasing their knowledge, teamwork and enthusiasm, they were awarded FIRST place overall, winning 2/3 sections of the day!

We’re incredibly proud of their achievement — here they are with their brilliant 3D printed trophies!

It was a wonderful finish to a great day!
