Y7 Conway Residential 2018

This year’s year 7 trip to the Conway Centre in Anglesey took place the week before half-term (Appleton Mon-Wed, Stockton Wed-Fri). The trip to North Wales was a huge hit with activities like orienteering, a trip to the nearby town of Beaumaris, and kayaking, raft building or canoeing. Also, the 3 day trip had evening events including a talent show and a disco. One pupil said that his favourite part was jumping into the Menai Straight; he said it was “freezing and very deep but very fun”. Conway is an extremely popular Year 7 trip and is highly rated every year as there is space for everyone. It is a great trip for pupils to bond and share fun experiences.
