Y8 Careers Assembly

As part of Personal Development Day on Thurs 13th Feb, Year 8 had an assembly in which five different parents visited to deliver presentations about their careers.

This included an:

• Occupational Therapist
• Engineer
• Buyer for the Fashion Industry
• Chartered Financial Planner
• Global Development Manager

We all (teachers included!) learned a lot about the different types of jobs, what they  involve and what is needed,  including qualifications and skills to join their professions.

Mr Roberts (Assistant  Headteacher) described the assembly as “great!” and said “ we are fortunate that so many of Bridgewater’s parents/carers support us in delivering important careers information; we couldn’t do it without them”.
