Eminem is re-releasing “The Slim Shady LP” in cassette tape form

Famous rapper Eminem released on his twitter account that he will be re-releasing his famous album ‘The Slim Shady LP’ in the form of a cassette. The tweet reads:

#SSLP Cassette re-issue coming soon shady.sr/SSLP

It’s unclear as to why Eminem has decided to re-release the album on cassette tape instead of vinyl but many are happy to see somebody choosing this underrated retro format. The release appears to be a limited edition, selling for $40 in a bundle with a black t-shirt.

He gave no specific release date yet, but fans can sign up at Eminem’s Shady Records to gain early access to the cassette tape, along with exclusive merchandise.
