GCSE Results Success 2022!

Reaping the rewards of resilience, stamina and commitment!

After 2 years of turbulence and disrupted learning, Bridgewater students have demonstrated once again why we continue to be proud of their resilience, stamina and commitment, as they receive a set of very strong GCSE exam results today.

Whilst the Department for Education has cautioned against comparing this year’s results with pre-pandemic results, we are proud to see improvements in almost all measures.

This performance is a rooted in the joint efforts of the whole school community. However today is absolutely a moment when students should reflect with pride upon these results as well as their wider achievements whilst attending Bridgewater High School. At a time when much of society has experienced hardship, Bridgewater High School students have rolled their sleeves up and overcome the many obstacles put in their way. They have attended well, studied hard and flourished.

They are a credit to themselves, their families and our school and as we enter a new phase of development as a school community, I’d like to thank them for the platform they leave us with.  On behalf of everyone here at Bridgewater High School, I would now like to wish our students all the best in the next stage of their education, and I have every confidence that they will continue to thrive.
