Restart a Heart – Appleton College
Aaron Cawley, Bridgewater’s Health and Safety Coordinator and First Aid Trainer, recently delivered a life saving session to our Sixth Form students. It covered topics such as how to deal with choking, burns, severe bleeding, fits and nose-bleeds, and actions to take whilst awaiting the emergency services. He then went on to show them how to perform CPR and they all got to practice the technique. A student said “Hopefully we will never have to put it to good use but at least we are prepared!”.
