Vocal Workshop with Ben Holder
An unforgettable experience with the amazing musical director Ben Holder:
On Friday 8th December, the whole of the Bugsy Malone cast met up at Lower School for a remarkable vocal workshop with Ben Holder! The workshop helped us with the singing of all the best songs in the musical Bugsy Malone from “Bad Guys” to “Fat Sam’s Grand Slam”. We learnt how to pronounce words well while singing and we learnt how to sing with a New York accent. The workshop was extremely beneficial for the whole cast and now we will most definitely perform the songs a lot better!
Ben Holder is a musical director who has some very great credits under his belt one of which is Bugsy Malone so it’s an understatement to say that Ben Holder knows this play inside out! Miss Wolfenden did a wonderful job organising the workshop and it was very kind of Ben for making some time in his schedule to come down and help us with our upcoming production of Bugsy Malone which will be on the 13th, 14th and 15th of February 2018.
