Y10 Silver DofE Expedition

Congratulations to the forty Year 10 students who have completed their Silver Award Expedition!

They completed 50 km over the hills of Llangollen climbing up to 577m. All of the students have really excelled  themselves this weekend.  It has been a rough ride for this year group weather-wise but this weekend finally gave them some sun; not a thunder storm in sight!

The students could not have done it without our amazing DofE staff team led by Mr Gifford. Thank you all so much for the support, hard work, laughs, and commitment you all show everyday and for bringing your unique twist to the weekends! Thank you to Miss Brennan, Mrs Nicholson, Miss Hooper, Mr Mercer, and Mr Mann. A special thank you to Mrs Hayes too for helping with the organisation.
