Visit to Broomfields Junior School

On 20th November, three of our Y8 cohort visited Y6 classes at Broomfields Junior School to talk about life at high school and at Bridgewater in particular.

The boys represented our school extremely well giving confident and mature explanations to the Y6 pupils. Their talks were clearly very engaging for the Broomfields pupils and they were itching to ask our boys lots of questions. The boys will re-visit the school next term to provide answers for any questions raised.

The Headteacher at Broomfields, Mrs Morris-Brown, said “Thanks to your three Year 8 boys for their Y6/7 transition presentation. They were mature, polite, confident and really impressed my Y6 staff. Not only that, our Y6 pupils really enjoyed meeting them and listening to their presentation.”
