Tunnock’s Teacake Challenge winner!

We are excited to announce that we have a winner in the national Tunnock’s Teacake Challenge!

Students are set a brief (this year ‘Shapes and Patterns’) and using plating and presentation skills they need to make a simple Tunnock’s teacake look exciting and appealing. Bridgewater entered two categories: Most Novel and 14+.

Megan H was awarded a prize in a third category ‘Judges Recommendations’. They recognised how beautiful, skilful and well presented her work was. With this being a national competition, which many schools enter, there are usually at least 100 entries. This was our first year entering and we have a winner! What a great achievement by Megan, and very well deserved!! We are very proud.
