STEM Hex Bug Maze

Budding KS3 engineers have successfully built mazes for their Hex Bugs during our STEM club.

Over the past few weeks our group has been making a Hex Bug maze. We used recycled cardboard, cans, egg boxes and plastic bottles.

Firstly we used half a box for our maze boundary. Then we started cutting the walls of the maze and added plastic cups to make a tunnel. After that we added a ‘Teleporter’ to make the Hex bug go on to a different level. Then we made a ramp to the next section. We finished off our maze by spraying it silver.
