Network Rail STEM Event
Mrs M Barber, Head of Science, organised for Network Rail career team and engineers to come and talk at the school.
The sessions were organised primarily for the year 11 cohort that are pre-enrolled onto a STEM subject at Appleton College however all year 11 pupils were welcomed to attend. The talk focused on career opportunities and apprenticeships available for pupils of school leaving age and thereafter.
The response from pupils was very positive and we hope that they have taken a lot of information and ideas from today. Anyone interested in Network Rail can chat to myself, Mrs Barber or Mr Cronin or alternatively visit the Network Rail website.
