Oliver!

Co-director Mrs Antell has this to say about our recent school production:

“The whole school production of Oliver! took place this week. It involved all year groups working together and they worked brilliantly. The incredible cast performed a matinee to Broomfields Year 6 and did three evening performances. They formed a real ensemble, and the older more experienced students were role models to our youngest performers. They were an absolute delight to work with and should be extremely proud of themselves.

As is tradition, we also presented The Candice Roberts Performing Arts award at the end of the show. This award is for a student that has shown an outstanding commitment to the arts and on this occasion Jacob Crowson (Year 11 – pictured) received the award.

I would like to thank Mr Coleman, Mrs Swaffield and Miss Plimmer for their support in directing the show, Miss Hind who also helped out with choreography, and Miss Cousins who worked hard to create a set, props and organise costumes and tech. Finance have also been brilliant in organising all of the tickets, licensing, and floats. Lots of staff came to support which the pupils were thrilled about. Thank you all so much!”
